David Hockney

Nottingham Contemporary Gallery is now open and showcasing a series of works by David Hockney, the exhibition explores his early years between 1960 and 1968. We have an excellent book in the department detailing his photographs and paintings, that you are more than welcome to look at before you make any plans... The exhibition runs until January 24th 2010...

What is the composition like? (busy, simplistic)

PROCESS
What materials has the artist used to make the work? (acrylic paint, graphite)
What techniques have been used to create the work? (drawing, painting, sculpture)

MOOD
How does the work make you feel?
Does the work create an atmosphere?
